Missoula Promotions- Part 2.0

Mike Bagan, Tyler Keith, Brian Yarrow, and Jake Quigley have accepted permanent position offers as GS-6 Smokejumpers in Missoula. Congratulations to each! The region 1 Fire Hire process is wrapping up for 2016, but the lists of applicants will remain active for an additional 45 days. If additional positions open up in Missoula, more positions may be filled.

Missoula Job Promotions!

We are pleased to announce that several positions have been filled in Missoula through Fire Hire. Justin Gilman has been promoted to the position of GS-8 Smokejumper Spotter. Kurt Rohrbach and Jeremy Kroeker have been promoted to GS-7 Smokejumper Squad Leaders. Several positions at the GS-6 level are also currently in the process of being selected. Detail Opportunity at MTDC

MTDC is looking for a detailer to work on a UTV/ATV project. The detail would begin in March and last 120 days, and would likely be at the GS-7 level. The work would include data analysis on accidents and equipment, as well as conducting a survey to analyze new equipment needs for UTV/ATV's. This is a great opportunity to get time in grade as a GS-7 and build skills including project management and technical writing. Contact Jesse Myers or Keith Windell (329-3956) for more information.

Submit Your Pay Period 2 Time and Attendance Record (T&A)

What You Need to Know

The National Finance Center (NFC) is requesting all employees to submit pay period 2, 2016, T&As early. Because of the Presidents’ Day holiday on February 15, 2016, employees can expect to receive their salary payment for pay period 2 no-later-than Tuesday, February 16, 2016.

What You Need to Do

Submit your pay period 2 T&A as early as Friday, February 5, 2016, but no later than Monday, February 8, 2016. Employees who submit approved T&As by this deadline can expect to receive their pay no later than Tuesday, February 16, 2016. Employees may experience a delay in pay if their T&A is submitted and approved after February 8, 2016.
