Promotions and New Hires

The following individuals were offered and accepted jobs during the recent Fire Hire process.  The strength of the each applicant pool was tremendous, making hiring decisions extremely difficult.  Thanks to all that applied and congratulations to those selected!

Court Wallace accepted a GS-9 Assistant Loft Foreman position.

Jeremy Kroeker, Enrique Olivares and Travis Parker accepted GS-8 Spotter positions.  

Mike Dunn and Darby Thomson accepted GS-7 Squadleader positions.

Chelsea Cough, Naomi Mills, Derik Ryan, Chris Surgenor, Ryan Williams and Scott Wood accepted GS-6 Smokejumper positions.

Detail Opportunity- GS 7/8 Great Northern- Assistant Crew Supervisor

Detail Opportunity- GS-9/10/11 Smokejumper RAM Air Training Position

There are two 120 day detail opportunities to serve as the Forest Service Smokejumper RAM Air Program. They are in Training and Safety.  Anyone who is interested should respond with a resume and IQCS Master Record to Mike Fritsen (mfritsen@fs.fed.us) or Roger Staats (rstaats@fs.fed.us) by February 28, 2017.
