The following individuals have accepted promotions at the Missoula Smokejump Base:

GS-7: Tyson Atkinson, Sam Bullington, David Maclay-Schulte, Brendan Quinn, Stephan Latham

GS-6:   Caleb Allen-Schmid, Jonathon Fuentes, Aaron Thorp, Jace Washburn, Joel Wealton, and Forrest Vogel

Please join us in congratulating Charles Savoia (MSO 01) as the new Missoula Smokejumper Assistant Base Manager and Dan Cottrell (MSO 01) as the new Operations Foreman.  Both rose to the top of a highly competitive pool of applicants. 

Charles has served as Assistant Foreman in both Training and the Loft.  He has been key to the Forest Service Transition to Ram-Air Parachutes.

Dan has served as Assistant Foreman in both Operations and Projects/Fuel.  He has spearheaded efforts in the Missoula Smokejumper Visitor Center, Lead Forward Program and Critical Incident Stress Management Program.
