8 out the door

8 R-1 jumpers jumped the Elk Hill fire in the Bob on 4/10/16. Anyone know of a fire jump earlier in the season than that ?

Spotter Documents

The FS-14 Prejump Equipment inspection ( a.k.a Spotter Check) checklist and the GAC injured jumper protocols are now available at the "Documentation" link to the right. They are also available in the "Spotting" folder in the MSOiPads Dropbox account, and paper copies are at the ops counter.

Congratulations on Promotions

Louis Fleming was offered and accepted the Assistant Operations Foreman position.  Filling in behind him is Kurt Rohrbach into the Spotter position, Isaac Karuzas into the GS 7 13/13 position and Ariel Starr into the GS 6 13/13 position.
There were many great candidates for these jobs making selection very difficult.
